For nearly 15 years, with companies such as SBC/Ameritech, W.W. Grainger, Marketing & Creative Services, and my own consulting business, I’ve led a wide range of marketing and branding strategy initiatives. My work has cut across B2B, consumer and internal communications; including both strategic and tactical marketing.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University and an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The IMC program at Medill is home to the leading opinion leaders in the area of integrated marketing communications. I’ve supplemented my formal education with continuing education programs offered by the local Chicago chapters of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and Business Marketing Association (BMA). I also received e-business certificate from Loyola University Chicago in 2001.

I was recognized by the AMA as a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) in 2001 and by the BMA as a Certified Business Communicator (CBC) in 2002.
